They both lack regulatory oversight, you have no legal protection or recourse with both. Online gaming is illegal in the US. You cannot "call Vegas", the only way to wager in Vegas is in person (you be there or thru a friend who's there). Gaming regulations do not allow calls to the Race & Sports Book.
